"No more classic Christmas gifts –
we want something creative with a
wink!" With this idea, we kicked off
our internal brainstorming for a holiday
concept. As a digital agency
where paperless work is part of
everyday life, we deliberately decided
against traditional Christmas and
New Year cards – and in favor of a
surprising digital alternative.
That’s how the microsite
#11Resolutions came to life: an
interactive platform offering our
clients and partners an original look
back at the past year – while playfully
looking ahead to 2023. The goal was
to design a website that met the
highest standards in design and
technology, reflected current trends,
and delivered real joy of use.
At the center were eleven New
Year’s resolutions from different
areas of life – from discipline to
relaxation – visualized as individual,
floating 3D objects. These hovered
in an animated, space-like
environment, with a background that
dynamically shifted in response to
cursor movement. The visual concept
intentionally evoked imagery of
the universe and sunrise – symbolic
of a fresh start in the new year.
On the microsite, users could choose
a resolution, add their own, and
share them via social media. The
campaign was distributed across
multiple channels including
newsletters, LinkedIn, and our website,
generating visibility, lightheartedness,
and interaction to ring in the new year –
paper-free but full of personality.
To bring the website up to date
with the latest trends, we started
with a benchmarking analysis,
focusing on typography, color,
and animation trends. The visual
design of the site was intended to
evoke a sense of a universe or
sunrise, creating an association
with the New Year. We also wanted
to make the background dynamic—
so its appearance changes in
response to cursor movement.
After all, the New Year symbolizes
change and new beginnings.
We implemented a playful feature
on the microsite that allows visitors
to choose their New Year’s resolution
for 2023 from various themes such
as discipline, determination, or
relaxation. Each theme is visually
represented by a fitting 3D object,
designed to illustrate the resolution
while also bringing a smile to users’
faces. In addition, visitors can submit
their own resolutions and share them
with us—adding a personal,
interactive touch to the experience.

A university website that truly
speaks to its audience
For Hochschule Worms, we developed a website that is consistently tailored to the needs of its primary target audience – young adults between the ages of 18 and 25. The previous website appeared dark and visually cluttered due to its color scheme. Our goal was to create a minimalist and modern design that provides clarity, supports orientation, and emphasizes what truly matters.
A central element of the relaunch was the use of authentic images and videos. They are intended to showcase the campus, research, and student life—not in a staged way, but calmly, naturally, and subtly. The aim is for the faculty to appear approachable through these visuals, avoiding a traditional sense of hierarchy.
The new design emphasizes generous white space, black typography, and a clear structure. The typeface used is Helvetica Neue – clean, timeless, and highly legible. Playful colors have been deliberately avoided; instead, visual interest is created by selectively highlighting key terms with accent colors specific to each subject area.
The logo was also reimagined. To align with the new, restrained look, it appears either in black or – depending on the background – in white. This allows it to blend harmoniously into the minimal overall design, moving away from the university's previous, more traditional color scheme.
From a technical and structural standpoint, the relaunch was implemented in an agile manner – content by content, module by module. Content areas were reorganized more clearly, and user navigation was significantly improved. The result is a website that not only convinces visually but also meets the high functional standards of modern university communication.
